Catch up

I realized I had some updating to do and some pictures to post. Also, Blogger has made some changes and changes in technology make me angry/nervous so this post was tough. Anyway, first up in big news: Dillon is in a big boy bed! We purchased a twin bed set from Gans Bedding a couple months ago and set it up in Dillon's room. Dillon liked his bed, but wanted to part in sleeping on it yet. Well, all of a sudden he decided he wanted to start using it and hasn't turned back. I'm really glad we waited until he was ready and made the jump from crib to bed on his own. He is doing REALLY well and we aren't noticing much difference. The first night he did get up at like 3am and take all of his jammies off, but other than that it's smooth sailing.
Here is Dillon showing some San Francisco pride for Aunt Emilie!
I had to post a picture of Dillon and his trains. He is just SO interested in trains and plays with them all the time. He is constantly talking about his trains and even reads his Thomas the Train Magazine at least twice a day.
And I had to post some pictures of the little artist using his easel.

 And the aftermath:
We've also discovered that Dillon does NOT like perogies. Not even a little. :-(
My mom and I took Dillon to Randall's Farm in Ludlow a couple of weekends ago. Dillon was cracking us up. He is so very shy right now. He'd be having a blast, but as soon as another human being gets within 5 feet of him, he tenses right up and everything is very serious. Here he is at the corn table as another toddler approaches.

He liked riding the tricycles through the hay maze.

There were also clowns at Randall's. Dillon was not so excited to see them, but really wanted a balloon animal so he allowed us to take him to see the clowns. The nice clown made Dillon a balloon sword and Dillon was so excited. Things took a wrong turn when the balloon popped. Dillon FLIPPED OUT. The sound obviously startled him, but then he was devastated at the loss of his balloon sword.

All was well when another clown gave him another sword.

Dillon likes to relax after a long day with a shot of milk.

He decided to write all over his face with marker and wanted to show it off!
Last weekend we went to Great Barrington to celebrate my cousin Abby's birthday. We had a very nice time and Dillon enjoyed playing with toys and his cousins.

Dinner was obviously a very serious matter as well.

We are looking forward to Halloween. Dillon is going to be a train conductor. However, he just told me today that he wants to be Angelina Ballerina instead. Oh dear.
I think that is pretty much all for now. Sorry this post is not the greatest. It's not easy throwing together a blog post with a toddler wanting to assist in the typing.
