Lupa Game Farm Zoo

It was another gorgeous spring day here and Tim's day off, so we decided to go to the Lupa Game Farm Zoo in Ludlow. It is about 15 mins from here and a really cute zoo. You can feed the animals and it's actually pretty large. Dillon had a blast. He is just starting to point at things and say actual words, so he was very excited to have some new things to gesture at. He seemed to like the ostriches and the goats best. The goats had just had their babies. So adorable:
Pretty statue...not an animal, but I can't resist an angel statue:
Crazy haired birds:

Really crazy hair:

Black swan...this was my first time seeing one of these in real life:

This is for Emilie, an armadillo. I had never seen one alive. When we were kids, she'd make my dad stop on the highway so she could look at them run over on the side of the road. She really liked armadillos and that was the only way to see one. That story sounds waay creepier actually writing it down:

We let Dillon out of his jogger for a little while and he ran straight for an antelope. He had no fear when it came to the animals. Dada had to intervene:

He was not so interested in riding on the fake ape:

I was able to wrangle him for .5 seconds to take a photo. I have next to none of Dillon with me:

The giraffe was really cool. It was so much bigger than you'd expect! They had a little tower you could walk up to feed him:

More baby goats:

Mama and baby goats. Dillon was excited to see another little nursling!
